Marek DobrowolskiMarek Dobrowolski has since 2005 been fueling the
rhythm section with his energy, groove and power in the
Swedish Death n´roll band One man army and the undead
quartet. His hard-hitting playing style and energetic live
appearance has quickly become a trademark for him and
the band.
Marek discovered the drums at the age of 12. After playing
in numerous high-school bands and rhythm ensembles, he
soon came to the conclusion that the heavier genres were
his favorite pick. Starting his recording career in the Thrash
metal unit Reclusion, he is now occupying the drum throne
in One man army and the undead quartet.
With One man army and the
undead quartet, Marek recorded the band's first album in 2006 (released
by Nuclear Blast) and headed out directly on a 7 week long major
European tour, supporting Children of Bodom. That tour took them through
17 countries and playing for sold out shows almost every night. Only a
few weeks after they returned, the band embarked on another trip around
Europe, this time as a part of the Neckbreaker's ball touring package.
The summer was spent playing major festivals in Europe. In less than one
year the band had managed to build a solid fan base due to good
promotion and extensive touring. |

By the end of that year Marek and his fellow band mates released a
Christmas single, something that is quite unusual in this genre, however
that release gave the band their first headline tour during the
Christmas season in Europe. The band's sophomore album, also on Nuclear
Blast, was released in March 2007, just in time to be able to hit the
stages of that summer's festivals. That fall, One man army and the
undead quartet headed again out for another journey through Europe, this
one dubbed “Such a sick tour”.
The
beginning of 2008 was spent writing what was to be the band's third
album, “Grim tales”. The album is the bands up to date finest effort and
most brilliant release. It combines the musicianships of the members
that has been in development since the beginning of the band. “Grim
Tales” is set to be released fall 2008 by Nuclear Blast and the band
will hit the road in November for a three week trip around Europe.
