Diego Miño was born on December 3th in 1981 in Quito, Ecuador. He has performed and recorded with Chaucha Kings, Tomback, Proyecto Santacoto, La Pandilla, Daniel Betancourt, Las Lolas, OrquestaSinamune Edgar Palacios, Lisa Khon, Dany Hidrobo, Ricardo Perotty, Ricardo Williams, Dario Castro, Juan Fernando Velasco, Pablo Estrella, Umbral, Tercer Mundo, ContravÃa, Douglas Bastidas, Valentina Lopez, Clip, Francisco Terán, Fausto Miño, Sergio Sacoto, Widinson, Vivi Parra, Delfin Quishpe, Rocko y Blasti, and many others. Miño is recognized as one of the best musical educators, and he has developed an amazing and interesting Youtube channel sharing a lot of knowledge with people from all around the world, Miño is especially considered for his big capacity of playing a lot of musical genders from rock, to cumbia and jazz, he has a unique way of playing Ecuadorian rhythms from tradition and fusion rhythms, keeping his idea of being a drummer and a percussionist at the same time. Miño shows a powerful technique stile and musical, based in Ecuadorian rhythms. He can play many kinds of musical genders, but he is considered one of the best players in Cumbia and Ecuadorian music from traditional to fusion rhythms. He combines his experiences of playing a lot of percussion instruments as he does in Tomback percussion (Meinl Artist) for about 15 years.

He is now on tour with, Tomback, Chaucha Kings and he does musical production in his own studio La Despensa Miño, and records drums and percussion for many artists in the world.
