Eric Fisher began playing drums at the age of 8 years old and played his first professional gig at the age of 12. For the following 10 years Eric was personally taught and mentored by well-known jazz professional Roy McCurdy.
By age 16 Eric was performing with a variety of bands and artists ranging from blues, indie, Christian rock, reggae, and alternative rock genres throughout the many venues of Los Angeles.
As Eric continued to mature as a drummer a new passion for drumming and communication developed. Eric began teaching private lessons to students ranging from 8-50+ years old, and also held drum classes at local elementary & high schools. In 2016 Eric founded Fisherdrumming.com an online drum lesson website to reach aspiring drummers all around the globe.
Eric currently runs Fisherdrumming.com online lessons, performs gigs, writes and records music, and runs a YouTube Channel with over 12,000 subscribers.
