Max Savage has performed in Parquet Courts since the band’s formation in late 2010. Over the past twelve years they have played at some of the world’s most iconic venues, from Red Rocks in Colorado to the Roundhouse in London. The group released their latest record, Sympathy For Life, in 2021 and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel and KEXP to promote the album. This summer they are performing at such festivals as Primavera Sound, Pitchfork, and Splendour in the Grass, as part of a global tour spanning three continents. They are currently signed to Rough Trade.
Max resides in Washington with his wife Maria, a business consultant at the National Park Service, and their dog Skye. He plays guitar in his side project, Maxband, and when he’s not playing music he enjoys cooking, reading, and running.
