I started playing drums at the age of 13. A friend in my neighborhood played guitar and suggested I get a drum set. That’s when it all began. By the age of 15, I was playing in shows in my region on the weekends. We progressed over the years opening up for bands like Korn, Deftones, Wrathchild America, COC, Obituary and many more. In 1997, I was asked to play for a band named Buzzoven who were pioneers of the “Doom” metal scene. We toured the US and put out several albums on different labels. We took a break for a while coming back full force in 2010 playing big festivals and a couple of US tours. The bass player, Dixie Dave Collins, also played in a band named Weedeater who were touring US, Europe, New Zealand, etc. In November 2018, I was asked to play with Weedeater. Since starting with Weedeater we have been touring support for COC and Crowbar. Selling out shows around the US and Canada. Headlining multiple US tours. We tour 7 to 8 months out of the year and are heading to Europe this summer. We are all from Cape Fear NC! Thanks for reading! –Ramzi
