Through many years of studying and performing he has become an accomplished and versatile drummer known to play many different styles of music.

He once was called in to replace legendary drummer Josh Freese’s drum tracks for a rock band on Atlantic records at the time. Dave also owns and operates a full production Recording Studio in Los Angeles where he produces, records, and mixes independent and national artists, as well as film and television. He also uses the studio to teach and record drum sessions for different artists. When Dave is not on tour you will find him recording in the studio, teaching students, or perhaps giving a percussion master class at a college, or just simply practicing his craft. He also sings lead vocal as well as back up, plays guitar and piano, composes and records his own compositions, sometimes collaborating with other songwriters. He says that being prepared, and focused for the task at hand always leads to success.

Dave’s bottom line is, “It better groove and make you move, and be sure to always play for the song, and always play from the heart.”
