From the Island of Antigua & Barbuda, Dwight Laviscount began playing drums formally at the age of 3 for his local church learning various styles including gospel, reggae, soca, calypso, zouk and more.

Continuing his music education, Laviscount completed a Professional Certification at the Berklee School of Music where he was the recipient of the Steve Vai Celebrity Scholarship award for his outstanding work.

Dwight currently performs with his jazz trio Acoustic Infusion and local star Asher Otto and the Itchy Feet Band. He has also worked with Local and Regional artists for many of Antigua’s top Gospel, Jazz, Soul, Neo-Soul and other events and projects that includes head drum educator for a local, private music education program. Dwight has also worked alongside international musicians Larnell Lewis, Rich Brown, Joy-Lapps-Lewis, Quisha Wint, Jessie Ryan and others in an annual music project for upcoming musicians.

Proficient in several styles, Dwight Laviscount excels at Funk, R&B, Latin, Rock, Jazz, Pop, Soul, Reggae, Gospel and more.

Constantly expanding his musical knowledge, Dwight Laviscount continues to serve in his capacity working with different artists developing his craft.
