I am a master in music with specialization in sound engineering. I started with the drums since I was a child, touring bars and restaurants in Bogota playing all kinds of musical genres, learning from each stage, and absorbing the knowledge that each place offered me.
With my first band Barrio Santo I was able to tour my country, be number 1 on the radio, be present at festivals and in the media. Then in college I met new genres and began to play them with many of my classmates. I came from rock and punk, but I approached Latin jazz, samba, bossanova and reggae, a time of much growth and learning.
When I graduated from the university, I founded my audiovisual studio Studi-On, where I specialized in being a studio drummer, recorded music for movies, TV and jingles, and for many bands of all kinds of genres. I have recorded a number of albums and products for audiovisual media.
2 years ago, I was fortunate to enter the band The Burning Caravan, a band formed by musicians from different countries of the world with global music that spans from jazz Manouche, through cumbia and Latin American rhythms, to jazz and rock. With this band I have toured Latin America and the United States, and have had long concert seasons in which a lot of the public has accompanied us, allowing us to continue to grow little by little. This year we had the honor of being nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards for best new artist. Enjoying the production and recording of the music in studio and the emotion of the live show is the reason of my life, and I appreciate being able to live doing what I love.
